Content and intentions of the “Year of the dragon 2012”:
The main conversation is at a CEFR EFL basic user level and is fully subtitled. Subtitles appear in the monologues at the beginning and end of the clip too but there are words intentionally left out, thinking about a higher level of users. With good independent users onwards speed might be applied to add spice to a possible spelling guessing game in…Continue

Oh my goodness! I feel as if I wasted the first 2 weeks of our session troubleshooting my avatar's VoIP functions. I will do my best to catch up via the recordings that have been generously posted for us and plan to dive back in with you all this week.
On the off chance that anyone else experiences the type of audio issues I was having, here is a short summary:
- I use a Mac and am running Viewer 188.8.131.528864
- the SLVoice process was not accurately engaging upon opening…Continue

Given the problems some participants had last night viewing the videos in-world, I was wondering if anyone can point out a solution. It seems Firestorm users need some additional plug-in or to change settings somehow. I have Flash installed, but that doesn't help. I will research this further but before I throw myself into the fray I was wondering if there is a quick and easy solution that anyone can point out.
Thanks in advance,
I am willing to help SL newbies in the evening US EST. I run both a Mac and a PC. Use Firestorm as a viewer, but can navigate the SL viewer as well.
Let me know here or IM me in SL, Tee Auster.
